It's nice to be safe
~ is feeling safe temporary, fleeting and elusive, or can we do something about it?
I read something a long time ago that had a ring of truth to it, but it wasn’t an academic credible source, it was a remark in someone’s piece, stated as if it was a certainty, so I wondered if it might be true. But I never investigated it
The point was, that stress and difficulty - difficult as they might be, contribute to a longer life, and a healthier one.
That strikes me as the opposite of what we read about, and hear about - because it is hard to appreciate whether the future is smooth sailing or a horrible struggle; but which is better for us - a smooth prosperous life of stress and illness-free?
Do we have a disease, or does the disease have us?
