Mark, what I enjoyed most about this piece was your reminder that standing still carries its own risks. As I was reading, I found myself thinking about something adjacent to risk: value creation.

We tend to evaluate decisions by asking what we might lose, yet the more interesting question is often, "What new value might this make possible?" Every meaningful innovation, relationship, business, or idea begins as a risk that someone believed was worth taking.

To me, risk isn't simply something to manage. Sometimes it's the price we pay for creating something that didn't exist before. Potentially, something beautiful.
