What is the purpose of anything?

~ if everything deserves that question test, then what is the purpose of this column?

When I wrote the first Musing column many years ago, there was a reason for doing it, there was a subject, and there was an audience.

That audience was only six, and the purpose/message was directed at only one of those.

The audience has grown, and the reason(s) have become clearer, but the value has never been as fuzzy and in turmoil in my mind as it has…
